Award-winning Face2Face Beauty Academy
Face2Face Beauty Academy was founded in 2014 to serve the needs of students all over the UK, providing Accredited Beauty Courses in our luxury salon in Chesterfield. Over the years, we have empowered countless students to gain the skills and confidence needed to follow their dreams.
To better support our students, we have now transitioned to a fully mobile-based academy, bringing our expertise directly to you! We found that most students thrive when learning in their own familiar environment, where they feel comfortable and confident. This exciting shift allows us to offer personalized, one-to-one training in your own space, ensuring you get the most out of your learning experience.
If you don’t yet have a setup, don’t worry! Some of our accredited tutors have dedicated training spaces available for you to use, giving you the flexibility to train in a fully equipped environment if needed.
Our innovative teaching methods continue to help students absorb material effectively under the guidance of our highly qualified, accredited tutors. We also encourage you to provide your own model (who must be over 18) for your course, as this helps create a more relaxed and realistic learning experience.
All of our courses are accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists or the CPD Accreditation Group and are industry-recognized, allowing you to gain Public Liability Insurance and start offering your services professionally.
Amanda Roberts
Founder & Tutor
Amanda Roberts is our Founder and Senior Tutor in Beauty and Holistics, Media Consultant and Freelance Educator. Face2Face Beauty Academy has developed as a natural extension to her enthusiasm and passion for attaining the Gold Standard in Vocational Beauty, Holistic and Aesthetic Education. Amanda’s mission is to add skills and confidence to the enthusiasm that learners bring to work in this exciting and ever-growing industry.
Amanda is also an accredited ILM Wellbeing Coach, a qualified NLP Practitioner and a licensed Sanomentologist using Mind Mediation. These skills can enhance the confidence and self-belief of our learners to utilise their training for the maximum benefit. These sessions are available as an add-on to any of our courses.
Amanda’s interests including music, dancing and sewing as well as enjoying taking our beautiful Labrador Jax for long walks.
Melanie Heywood
Academy Director / Level 4 Freelance Educator / Regulated Aesthetic Practitioner & Holistic Therapist
Meet Melanie – Our Highly Qualified Senior Therapist & Lead Aesthetic Trainer
Melanie is a highly qualified practitioner and trainer, recognised as a regulated professional in the industry. As our Senior Therapist, she leads both training and treatments at Face2Face Beauty Academy, specialising in Aesthetic Training. With a detailed understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, Melanie ensures that every student not only masters the techniques but also gains a deep understanding of why and how they work—building true expertise, not just skill.
Known by her massage clients as having ‘Magic Hands’, Melanie’s talent and passion shine through in every session. She is dedicated to passing on her exceptional skills, ensuring that each learner receives the highest standard of personalised training. Her goal is to inspire confidence, precision, and excellence in every student she teaches.
Beyond her career, Melanie has always had a deep connection with animals, spending her free time with her beloved horses and family dogs. She is also a devoted mum to her inquisitive daughter, Georgia, who shares her love for animals and enjoys getting involved in caring for them.
Terri Marchetta
Tutor
Terri has over 15 years of beauty experience and is a qualified tutor in Nails and Beauty. She has extensive knowledge of nail care specifically in silk / gel overlays on the natural nails and trains using only the best products to ensure nails healthy and strong. Her passion is passing on her knowledge to learners, ensuring everyone that trains with us leaves us feeling happy, relaxed, and confident in the skills they have developed.
Terri loves to learn new skills and techniques to ensure she is always up to date with the latest nail art trends. She can also offer great business advice as she runs her own busy salon.
Terri always likes to keep busy, and her hobbies outside of work include CrossFit and eating good food with her family. Dream big is her motto!!
Kirsty Shaw
Tutor
With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, Kirsty brings an array of experience to the tutoring team. From working abroad in luxury spas through to running her own successful business, Kirsty can provide real-life business advice along with high quality training in beauty treatments.
Kirsty has specialised in lash and brows treatments for over 12 years and is recognised as a lash artist finalist. This means she brings the most current techniques and trends to her training. Kirsty also holds advanced beauty qualifications and loves the opportunity to share as much knowledge as possible with students to give them the best possible experience.
When Kirsty is not training with Face2Face Beauty Academy, she keeps busy providing treatments to clients in her own beauty business.
To relax, Kirsty spends her time away from work enjoying walking her dog and in active in renovating her house alongside her husband.
Anna Beasley
Tutor
For 14 years Anna ran a successful beauty salon with a large client base. Whilst here, she trained her staff to attain the high standard that were expected at the salon and through this discovered her passion for training. Anna loves the interaction with the students and seeing the progress they make and helps them to enjoy both the challenge and drive of running a beauty business.
She has a passion for beauty therapy and relishes the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with others. Married for 14 years and mother to three school-age children, Anna is a very hard-working person with a very positive outlook on life, always giving her best in everything she does. In her personal time, she enjoys socialising with family and friends and admits to being a keen shopper!
